Philip Pelusi is an internationally recognized stylist, photographer and product artist, synonymous with excellence in the industry. Having gone from 1 salon to 13 salons as well as a magnificent industry centerpiece in New York City, Philip Pelusi has created a haircare philosophy, a product line, P2 by Philip Pelusi, and Systems for Success. Philip created and trademarked, within the industry, the phrase "A Cut Above The Rest" to coincide with his creation of the registered Volumetric® haircutting technique around which he built his empire.
He created the S.P.A.C.E Design Center, a state of the art education facility in a converted orthodox church where, in addition to providing skill certification for his 350+ designers, Philip holds events and seminars for salon owners from all cross North America. Philip has met the demands of his clients with his unique trademarked the Volumetric® haircutting technique. Philip is often quoted as saying, "I didn’t invent the haircut, I just made it better". InStyle named Philip one of the top 10 stylist in the country. Volumetrics® created another challenge for Philip: to create products that could support his design. At the same time independent salons were asking Philip for products, as they were looking for a line that was free of diversion and deception. As a result, Philip launched the Philip Pelusi® P2 line of professional hair care and skin care. Because of Philip’s acumen in the area of hair care, he is a much in demand expert regularly appearing in trade and consumer publications as well as television and radio. The Philip Pelusi® line has been well received in such magazines as Launchpad, InStyle, WWD, O, Marie Claire, Cosmo. Philip’s Art of Business column is an ongoing feature in American Salon. He is a returning guest on Martha Stewart’s Living Today show on Sirius Radio, has featured products on QVC, and is a favorite go-to beauty expert on ABC Television Network. Philip Pelusi® products are regularly used in the television and movie industry.
